Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has once again demonstrated his commitment to youth empowerment and welfare by extending a gesture of support to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members currently undergoing their three-week orientation camping in the state.
Governor Zulum gifted each of the 1,215 corps members with a sum of N30,000, totaling N36.4 million, as a token of appreciation for their participation and dedication to the NYSC program. In addition to the monetary gift, Governor Zulum allocated essential food items to ensure the well-being of the corps members during their stay in Borno State. The governor provided 100 bags of rice, 10 cows, 10 bags of 100 kg of beans, and 10 gallons of cooking oil. These provisions will contribute to the preparation of special meals for the corps members, enhancing their overall orientation experience.
