Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Move for Arsenal Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale Called Off
Wolves’ pursuit of Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has fallen through due to financial constraints. The West Midlands club had been in talks with Arsenal over a loan deal with a £20m option to buy but have now pulled out, as the deal proved too expensive.
Ramsdale, seeking regular first-team football after losing his spot to David Raya, might still depart Arsenal before the transfer window closes, but a move to Wolves is unlikely.
Wolves, despite earning nearly £100m from sales this summer, remain cautious with their spending. Manager Gary O’Neil emphasized the need for a stable squad after their 6-2 defeat to Chelsea and remains focused on getting more out of his current players.

Crystal Palace Nearing £30m Deal for Arsenal Striker Eddie Nketiah
Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah for a fee in the region of £30m. The deal reportedly includes £25m upfront with an additional £5m in add-ons.
Palace have long been interested in the 25-year-old England international, having initially inquired about his availability in January. Although Nottingham Forest had been in advanced talks with Arsenal over a similar deal, they withdrew, leaving Palace as the frontrunners. French club Marseille also expressed interest, but no deal materialized.
Nketiah, who has not featured in any of Arsenal’s Premier League games this season, has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for the Gunners and is under contract until 2027.
