We will expel Wike at the right time – PDP spokesperson

A former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, indicated on Thursday that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, may face expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the future.

Bwala made these remarks during an appearance on the Politics Today programme on Channels Television.

Wike had challenged the PDP the day before to take action against him, including suspension or disciplinary measures, asserting that he had not encountered a party leader with the authority to suspend or expel him from the PDP.

Bwala explained that their restrained response to Wike’s statements was due to his inclination towards dramatic actions, which is widely recognized.

He emphasized that the party’s apparent quietness was not a sign of weakness but a deliberate strategy.

Bwala firmly stated that when the right time comes, Wike might not only face suspension but also eventual expulsion from the party.

He added, “Why we seldom respond to what he (Wike) says is because he enjoys drama, as everyone knows. The party’s silence is not a sign of weakness…the party knows what it’s doing. When the time is right, he (Wike) may not just be suspended but also expelled. Mark my words.”
