“The dual positions you occupy are testimonies that you have done well,” NJF tells new Chairman, S’East Traditional Rulers’ Council

The Nsukka Journalists’ Forum, NJF, on Monday, congratulated the Chairman of Enugu State Traditional Rulers’ Council, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Ikechukwu Asadu, on his emergence as the Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers’ Council.

The Chairman of NJF, Comrade Benson-Whyte Ezugwu, on the congratulatory message to His Royal Majesty, Igwe Asadu, said that his leadership of both Enugu State and South East Traditional Rulers’ Councils were testimonies of his exemplary qualities which have manifested in his unprecedented human capacity developments.

“We felicitate with you on your elevation to the exalted position of Chairman of the South East Traditional Rulers’ Council.

“Just recently you were inaugurated as the Chairman of Enugu State Traditional Rulers’ Council and while we are still celebrating the feat, another big feather has been added to your elbows.

“We are not surprise by your achievements going by what you have done for your community and society in general. 

“The dual positions that you meritoriously occupy today is a testimony that you have done well and we have no option than to urge you to continue your good deeds and the sky will be your beginning.

“We are proud to be associated with you and will continue to do so. We encourage you to work harder to justify these enormous responsibilities and stamp your feet on the sand of history,” the message said.

His Royal Majesty, Igwe Asadu, is the Traditional Ruler  of Edem Ani Ogwugwu Ancient Kingdom in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
