Abdoulaye Seck propelled the Teranga Lions into the lead with a powerful header from a free-kick, while Iliman Ndiaye sealed the triumph with a skillful low finish in the closing minute of the game.
Despite the loss, Guinea had already secured their spot in the knockout stage, finishing third in the group, as Cameroon’s 3-2 victory over The Gambia determined their fate.
