In a horrifying incident, bandits targeted the Catholic Parish House in Kamanton, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, setting the premises ablaze. Tragically, one seminarian, Brother Stephen Naman Ngofe, lost his life in the blaze, while two clergymen narrowly escaped the fire and an attempted kidnapping.

The attackers, believed to be bandits, descended on the parish house around 8 p.m., unleashing destruction that led to the loss of life and property. Sources report that Brother Stephen succumbed to smoke inhalation while attempting to flee from the attackers.
