Social commentator and author, Reno Omokri, took to Twitter (@renoomokri) to express his support for key economic policies, urging Nigerians to embrace self-sufficiency in the face of economic challenges.

The social commentator criticized individuals, especially journalists, who criticize the government while relying heavily on imported goods. He advocated for a paradigm shift, suggesting the use of Nigerian products and services in daily life, from communication and transportation to banking and entertainment.
Among his recommendations were supporting indigenous companies like Glo for communication, Innonson for transportation, Dangote for construction, and Air Peace for air travel. He called for a change in consumer habits, promoting the use of Nigerian-made clothing, shoes, and technology.
