It is also aligned with President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, which seeks to ensure that foreign and domestic service delivery to citizens, residents, and prospective visitors reflects world-class efficiency and quality.
As part of this directive, President Tinubu has exempted Nigeria’s Permanent Representatives to the United Nations in New York and Geneva from the total recall. This exemption is in consideration of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly scheduled for later this month.
The recall of the affected ambassadors and diplomatic staff takes immediate effect, as directed by the President. This move underscores the commitment of the administration to enhancing the country’s diplomatic and foreign relations to better serve the interests of Nigeria and its citizens.
