These appointments reflect the President’s commitment to establishing a new and sustainable standard of transparent, fair, and conflict-free electoral conduct in Nigeria.
These appointments hold significant weight as Nigeria gears up for upcoming elections, underlining the critical role played by INEC and its commissioners in ensuring that electoral processes in the country are conducted fairly and with integrity. The nominations are now awaiting confirmation by the Nigerian Senate before the newly appointed RECs can officially assume their roles.
