Despite repeated requests for her cooperation and the presence of substantial evidence, Ms. Robert had consistently refused to engage with the police, leading to her being declared a person of interest.

The police emphasized the need to clarify any misconceptions regarding allegations of misconduct. They categorically denied claims that they had surrounded and threatened Ms. Robert’s life. Instead, police operatives acted upon credible intelligence provided by a concerned member of the public, leading to the successful location and apprehension of Ms. Robert.
As of now, Ms. Peace Ekom Robert is in police custody, and the investigative process will continue with diligence and impartiality.
