Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will adopt an integrated structural biology approach, utilizing techniques such as single particle cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, and small-angle X-ray scattering. They will also employ a wide range of biophysical techniques for the characterization of protein-protein interactions, including SPR, ITC, MALS, and MST. The position will include practical training in a protein biochemistry lab and processing of structural data using Linux workstations.
Requirements:
What is expected from candidates:
- An M.Sc. in biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in structural biology.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and the motivation and commitment to design experiments and interpret results independently.
- Experience in structural biology techniques is not required, but familiarity with recombinant protein expression and protein purification will be a plus.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English is a prerequisite.
