Job Description: The successful applicant will work in the team led by Prof. Samuel C. Zeeman, researching how plants produce carbohydrate polymers that form starch and how they adopt a semi-crystalline state. The research involves molecular genetics in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, advanced microscopy, cell biology techniques, and in-vitro/in-vivo biochemistry.
Your Profile: You should have a Master’s degree or equivalent with a strong background in biology/biochemistry and a keen interest in plant sciences. Strong knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry is essential. Experience in microscopy, bioinformatics, and quantitative data analysis is advantageous. Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
Application: To apply, submit a CV, motivation letter (one page), academic certificates, and contact details of two academic referees through the online application portal. Applications via email or postal services will not be considered. Closing date: As per mutual agreement.
