About the Position
The chair for “Governance in International Agribusiness,” affiliated with the TUM School of Management and the TUM School of Life Sciences, is seeking a Ph.D. Student in Economics of Nutrition. This position is located on the Freising-Weihenstephan Campus and initially offers a two-year appointment with the possibility of extension. The salary will be based on the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service of the Länder (TV-L E13) with negotiable percentages.

Tasks
The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in the field of economics of nutrition, health, and foods. Additional responsibilities include:
- Contributing to teaching activities of the Chair
- Contributing to the development of research curricula of the Chair
- Assisting with competitive project funding bids
- Participating in the administration of the Chair
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- An academic background in both economics and nutrition/health
- An excellent Master’s thesis
- Proficiency in econometrics and quantitative methods
- Experience with experimental and behavioral economics research (an advantage)
- Strong motivation to publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of the German language (an advantage)
- Personal initiative, commitment, and excellent teamwork skills
