Northern Lawyers Forum Vows Legal Action for Airstrike Victims

Lawyers from the Concerned Northern Forum have taken a firm stance, pledging to pursue legal action against the Federal Government over the tragic Tudun Biri bombing incident in Kaduna State.

The lawyers’ forum is demanding adequate compensation for the victims affected by the military airstrikes, which claimed over 120 lives during a Maulud celebration.

Barrister Nafi’u Abubakar, speaking on behalf of the Northern Lawyers Forum, emphasized the need for justice for families enduring profound losses due to the unfortunate incident.

Addressing the press in Kaduna, Nafi’u asserted that the forum is dedicated to ensuring that affected families receive fair compensation for the irreparable loss they have suffered.

He urged the Federal Government to swiftly initiate a thorough and independent investigation into the incident. Nafi’u stressed the importance of holding those accountable for the tragedy and emphasized the necessity of preventive measures to avert similar incidents in the future.
