Nigerian Army Promotes Senior Officers: A Celebration of Merit and Dedication

The Nigerian Army, under the directive of the Army Council, has announced the promotion of a distinguished cadre of officers to the esteemed ranks of Major General and Brigadier General. The elevation, effective from December 21, 2023, encompasses the ascendancy of 47 Brigadier Generals to the rank of Major General and the advancement of 75 Colonels to Brigadier General.

Several other exceptional officers have been elevated to Major General status, each holding pivotal positions across various strategic commands and directorates within the Nigerian Army.
