Reports suggest that Premier League side Newcastle United is seriously considering a move for Victor Boniface, the talented Nigerian striker currently lighting up the scene at Bayern Leverkusen.
Scouts from Newcastle United were reportedly in attendance to observe Boniface during a recent international friendly where Nigeria faced off against Saudi Arabia in Portugal.
The 22-year-old sensation has been in scorching form this season, netting an impressive nine goals and contributing three assists in just ten appearances for Bayern Leverkusen. His summer transfer to the Bundesliga outfit for a fee of €12 million has proven to be a shrewd investment, and Boniface has played a pivotal role in Bayern Leverkusen’s success during the 2023/24 season. During the international fixture, Boniface showcased his immense talent, even forcing an own goal from the Saudi Arabian side.
