The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that it will begin disbursing the nine-month backlog of payments to N-Power beneficiaries in November. Alongside this update, the government has also unveiled a new name for the Programme, which is now called the Renewed Hope Job Creation Programme (RHJCP).
Akindele Egbuwalo, the National Programme Manager of N-Power, confirmed this development on Monday. He mentioned that the payments will be made in installments to the beneficiaries, who have been eagerly awaiting their stipends.
The necessary funds for the backlog payments have been successfully recovered from the existing payment service providers, making it possible for the government to proceed with the disbursements.
