The Lagos State Police Command has initiated the process of exhuming the remains of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Following this, a post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place.
Mohbad’s recent demise, which occurred last Tuesday, stirred concerns and suspicions, with some implicating Afeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Record Label. Additionally, there have been conflicting claims from distant relatives regarding the distribution of Mohbad’s assets after his passing.
The immediate burial of Mohbad in Ikorodu, Lagos, the day after his death, raised questions among many Nigerians. Nonetheless, his father clarified that this was in accordance with Yoruba customs.
