Mohbad Developed Severe Reactions After 3 Injections, Says Lagos CP

In a startling revelation, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, disclosed that the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, experienced severe adverse reactions after being administered three injections by a nurse on September 12, 2023.

CP Owohunwa made this revelation during a press briefing held on Friday at the Lagos State Command headquarters in Ikeja. The press conference aimed to provide preliminary reports on the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death.

“As of today, a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed,” CP Owohunwa stated.

Among those interrogated were Mohbad’s family members, including his father, mother, sisters, brother, wife, and manager, along with several others closely associated with the late singer. The CP revealed that Mohbad was brought to the hospital already deceased, and doctors on duty certified his death on September 12.

According to CP Owohunwa, the nurse responsible for the injections, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, was invited to Mohbad’s residence by his friend, Ayobami Sodiq, also known as Spending. The nurse administered three injections to the singer, which were subsequently linked to a series of adverse reactions leading to Mohbad’s tragic demise.

The commissioner stated, “Mohbad began vomiting and developed goosebumps after the injections.”
