The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association, has declared its determination to put an end to the perceived injustice faced by its members across the nation.
To this effect, the organization has established a 55-member legal committee responsible for assessing and addressing cases involving its members, aiming to seek legal remedies where necessary.
In addition, two other committees focused on enlightenment and nomadic education have been inaugurated to tackle issues related to education and social cohesion. This stance was announced during the association’s annual general meeting held in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.

Highlighting their concerns, the association emphasized that the continuous detention of Fulani cattle herders in the country has led to the creation of the legal team. The team’s primary objective is to provide legal assistance to unjustly incarcerated herders, advocating for their rights and justice in the legal system.
Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, the National President of the association, underscored that the broad generalization of Fulani herders as criminals is unjust and unfounded. He asserted that the legal team has been mandated to champion the cause of herders who have been unfairly treated, humiliated, and imprisoned within their own country.
While advocating for peaceful coexistence between herders and other Nigerians to reduce friction and unwarranted arrests by security agencies, Bodejo warned that individuals who incite trouble and face arrest will not receive support from the association.

The First Lady of Bauchi State and Matron of the Association, Hajiya Aisha Bala Muhammed, echoed the sentiment that crime is not specific to any particular tribe. She emphasized the importance of education in curbing criminal activities across all communities.
Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, represented by the Chairman of Karu LGA, James Thomas, assured the association of the state government’s continued support in addressing issues affecting its members.
This development reflects the association’s efforts to address perceived injustices, provide legal aid, and promote understanding among diverse communities.
