“I am dreaming to see a website where all the information we needed for all the critical staff of the University would be accommodated. All the information about our Deans and Directors, Heads of Departments, present and past officers as well as our University Governing Council members should be there. Let information about all our faculties and departments be captured and featured adequately on the website. The website must also capture the list of every staff of ESUT.
“If we fail in having a robust website and an audited assets before leaving office, it means we did nothing in ESUT. We want new thinking and refreshing ideas in ESUT. Doors have been opened for new ideas and innovations to take root in ESUT,” the Vice Chancellor said.
The Chairman of the committee, Dr. Uche Okafor, while reacting during the inauguration, thanked the University Management for finding them worthy to serve, pledging to deliver on their mandates.
He said the committee would be interfacing with the University Management to seek authorization in some of the features of the website.
Other members of the committee include Philip Uzodinma (Website Officer); Godson Nwankwo; David Chikeleze; Eternity Amuka; and Ernest Nweke.
The committee has three months from the date of inauguration to deliver on its mandates.
