Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of these mega schools in offering a sound educational foundation for children, particularly those from less privileged families. He stated that the funds would be used to create modern learning spaces, ensuring a higher quality of education at the grassroots level.

Additionally, Governor Yusuf outlined other educational investments, including N500 million for a hostel at Aliko University Wudil, N150 million for the new Environmental and Climate Department at Maitama Sule University, and over N500 million for new courses at the State Polytechnic and Management Institution.
