Football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed how he encourages young people to embrace hard work in order to be successful in life.
He said he took his son to his one-room apartment where he lived when he was 12 years old at Lisbon to let him know that success doesn’t fall from the sky but through hard work.

“When he saw the little room where I slept, he said to me: ‘Did you really live here, Dad?’ He couldn’t believe it. Young people think that everything is easy in this world. Quality of life, houses, cars, clothes… They think that everything falls from the sky as if nothing had happened.

“I try to make my son understand that these things do not only come through talent but above all through hard work.
“With hard work and determination, you can achieve anything you want. This is what I try to instil in my son and the young people I meet.”
