Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Thursday, emerged as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC .
The party equally elected Ajibola Basiru, the former Senate spokesman, as the National Secretary.
The duo emerged during the 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
Recall that APC’s National Legal Adviser, Ahmed El-Marzuk, resigned from the party’s National Working Committee, NWC.
El-Marzuk resigned his appointment on Wednesday, following insistence by some of his colleagues that he could not longer be in office due to some allegations against him.
