The Spiritual Director of Okunerere Adoration Ministry, Rev Father Paul Obayi, has changed his earlier pronouncement on his intention to quit Catholic church over alleged oppression by the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Most Rev Godfrey Onah.
In a viral video , Fr Obayi, who is an Associate Professor explained that after receiving numerous calls of support from friends worldwide, he reconsidered his stance, realizing that people do care.
Last week, he passionately voiced his concerns about marginalization and injustices he experienced within his diocese, stating that despite his sacrifices for the church, he felt neglected and his ministry’s land was under threat from fellow priests.
