The Appeal Court has dismissed Uche Nnaji’s petition regarding the 2023 Enugu gubernatorial election.
Nnaji, who was dissatisfied with the earlier ruling, had requested that the appellate court send the dismissed petition back to the Tribunal for further hearing and determination.
During the hearing on Tuesday, the Appeal Court upheld the decision of the Tribunal and subsequently dismissed the suit. Additionally, the court ordered Nnaji and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to pay a fine of N250,000 each.
This ruling by the Appeal Court effectively concludes the legal process for Nnaji’s petition.
