Enugu Govt to support Nigerian Navy in establishing base, school, hospital

The Enugu State government has affirmed its commitment to support the Nigerian Navy’s initiatives in establishing a naval operational base, hospital, and welfare school within the state.

Governor Peter Mbah made this pledge during a meeting with the Naval Committee responsible for these developments at the Enugu Government House.

He expressed his administration’s determination to collaborate with the federal government to ensure lasting peace and security in the state, emphasizing that these new facilities would hold significant strategic importance and benefit the state.

Governor Mbah recalled the security challenges faced by the state upon taking office and underscored the administration’s focus on achieving peace and security to drive economic growth.
