Marseille has expressed strong interest in signing Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah, who is reportedly looking to leave the Gunners this summer.
The French club, aiming to revamp its squad after a disappointing Ligue 1 campaign that saw them miss out on European football, has already made significant additions to its roster, including Mason Greenwood and Roberto De Zerbi.
The Athletic reports that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is also close to joining the team, and now Marseille is setting its sights on Nketiah, another Premier League talent. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang departing to join Al-Qadsiah of the Saudi Pro League, De Zerbi and Marseille see Nketiah as a valuable addition to bolster their attacking options.

He feels he is not a priority in Mikel Arteta’s plans, with other players ahead of him in the pecking order. Marseille is reportedly also considering Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves as an alternative to meet their striker needs.
