DSS Joins Investigation into Mohbad’s Death: Sanwo-Olu Assures Public of Accountability

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, through his official Twitter handle @jidesanwoolu, has addressed the passing of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Imole Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. In his statement, Governor Sanwo-Olu assured the public of his commitment to uncovering the truth behind Mohbad’s sad demise.

The Governor revealed that efforts have been underway behind the scenes, with close collaboration between relevant authorities and ongoing investigations.

To bolster the inquiry, Governor Sanwo-Olu has invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the investigation, emphasizing inter-agency collaboration and the use of advanced technology to uncover the facts.

He stated, “I have instructed that all those who may have played any role whatsoever in any event leading to the death of MohBad be made to face the law after a thorough investigation.”

Furthermore, Governor Sanwo-Olu made an earnest plea to anyone with vital information that could assist the investigation to come forward and share it with the investigative team. He also assured the confidentiality and protection of witnesses who provide essential information.

Both the Police and the DSS have committed to periodically briefing the public on their efforts in the investigation.

Governor Sanwo-Olu extended his condolences to Mohbad’s family, friends, colleagues, and fans worldwide, expressing his wishes for love and light while praying for the departed talent’s soul to rest in peace.
