Davido’s fan, Emmiwuks hospitalized after 15-day cycling to Lagos

Emmanuel Myam, also known as Emmiwuks and a devoted follower of the renowned musician David Adeleke, famously called Davido, has ended up requiring medical treatment after an extraordinary 15-day bicycle journey from Benue State to Lagos, all to meet his music idol.

On the notable date of Friday, August 18, 2023, the cyclist from Benue successfully reached Lagos, where he was kindly received by the Tiv community residing in the area.

During his journey, Davido advised the young enthusiast to turn back, clarifying that he wasn’t available at the moment. Despite this, he asked for the fan’s bank details, but Emmiwuks graciously declined the financial offer.

Undaunted by these setbacks, Emmiwuks unexpectedly visited Davido’s residence on Saturday night with the hope of meeting the singer, only to discover that Davido was absent.

In a recently surfaced video posted on his social media, Emmiwuks appeared visibly weakened and in a state of poor health, receiving intravenous fluids through a secure attachment on his hand.

Emmiwuks was accompanied by his friends who were seated near his hospital bed. Concerned about his well-being, they inquired about his appetite, to which he replied that he would appreciate any kind of food they could bring him.
