Chef Abdul Razak Faila, based in Tamale, expressed disappointment as notable Ghanaian musicians, including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Samini, failed to attend her impressive 10-day cook-a-thon. The culinary marathon aimed to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon and concluded recently.
In an interview following the event, Faila called out “dancehall king” Shatta Wale for breaking his promise to attend and show support. She also criticized other top musicians like Stonebwoy and Samini, her northern brother, for their absence during the cook-a-thon.
While expressing disappointment in the majority, Faila extended appreciation to Kwabena Kwabena, who honored his commitment and attended the culinary event to show support.
