Celebrity Native Doctor kidnapped in Anambra

On Sunday night, the well-known native doctor, Akwa Okuko tiwara aki (meaning “an egg that breaks palm nut”), who hails from Oba in the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, fell victim to a shocking incident when he was kidnapped from one of his hotels in the town.

Akwa Okuko tiwara aki, renowned for his purported powers of disappearance, was unable to evade the kidnappers who targeted him in the hotel. The kidnapping was carried out with apparent ease, and tragically, his two personal aides lost their lives in the vicinity of the hotel during the attack.

The native doctor, who enjoyed a reputation as one of the most potent in Anambra State, had established three hotels in Oba, and it was unexpected that he could be abducted so effortlessly in his own establishment, Triple P Hotel.

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the abduction, with the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, stating that the incident occurred around 11:30 pm on the previous night.

In response to the distressing situation, the State Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, has issued a directive for security operatives to intensify efforts in tracking down the abductors and securing the safe release of the native doctor.
