NNPP Suspends Kwankwaso, NWC Over Anti-Party Activities

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has suspended its presidential candidate, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for alleged anti-party activities, along with the National Working Committee (NWC). The party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) cited unauthorized political engagements as the reason for the suspension. Dr. Agbo Major and Mr. Ogini Olaposi have been appointed as acting National Chairman and acting National Secretary, respectively. The suspension will last for six months. The party aims to address breaches of party protocol and maintain unity within its ranks. The decision was made during a special general assembly attended by new NWC members and representatives from across Nigeria.
