The international conference tagged “3rd Sustainable Engineering and Industrial Technology Conference,” SEITC, would hold between 22nd -25th August, 2023, at the Faculty of Engineering, UNN.
The Canadian scholar would discuss the topic, ‘Techno-economic Assessment of Maritime Hydrogen Transport.’

Other international scholars who would make presentations during the conference include: the Executive Director of Peprime Limited and a member of Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom, Prof. Paul Eke.
Eke, a Professor of Digital Twin Technology and System Engineering would present the topic ‘Leveraging Twin Technology, System Engineering, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Delivering Sustainable Energy Solutions ‘.
Also, Prof. Sebastain Timmerberg, a professor of Environmental Engineering; and a Director at Steinbeis Institute for Materials Applications and 3D Printing Solutions, Karlsruhe, Professor Brando Okolo, would also make presentation during the conference.
The Dean, Faculty of Engineering, UNN, Prof. Emenike Ejiogu, who briefed newsmen at Nsukka on Tuesday, said that the conference would provide opportunities to industry and academia participants to jointly examine, explore and critically engage in issues of sustainability in the areas of focus.
He called on prospective authors to submit seven-page electronic papers on Embedded Power Generation; Soil, Water and Environmental Management; Climate Change; Energy and Environment; Food Processing, Biotechnology among others.
He further explained that the deadline for seven-page (maximum) technical papers is on July 31st, while that of abstracts for exhibition projects is in August 15th, 2023.
He equally said that there would be students (individual, group project), and staff (research groups, industries) Engineering/Technology Exhibition Competition on August 23, 2023.
He explained that the exhibition would help to showcase notable student and staff research outputs in order to attract collaboration from within and outside the university.
For industry exhibitors, he further said that the competition would help to advertise their products to the university community to facilitate town-gown collaboration.
