The police have officially confirmed the completion of the autopsy on the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
This announcement was made via the police’s official Twitter account. Previously, Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police, had mentioned that Mohbad’s body was exhumed to facilitate the autopsy.
In their statement, the police assured the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully conducted, with a commitment to share the results once they are available.

Mohbad’s unexpected demise, which occurred last Tuesday, has sparked inquiries and suspicions, with some implicating Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Record Label. Naira Marley has consistently maintained his innocence and called for a thorough investigation.
Furthermore, disputes among relatives have arisen concerning Mohbad’s estate. Concerns were expressed regarding the swift burial in Ikorodu, Lagos, a day after his passing. However, his father clarified that this was in accordance with Yoruba customs.
Nigerian youths have organized peaceful protests nationwide to demand justice for Mohbad, including a candlelight procession and concert held in Lekki, Lagos. The police have pledged to investigate his death, and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has requested the involvement of the Department of State Services (DSS) in the investigation.
