Governor Alex Otti Establishes Abia Global Economic Advisory Council
Governor Alex Otti of Abia State (Abia Governor) has officially announced the creation of the Abia Global Economic Advisory Council (AGEAC), a distinguished body composed of experts from various sectors. The council is expected to provide strategic guidance on economic policies and drive sustainable development in the state.
The formation of AGEAC is part of a broader initiative to revitalize Abia’s economy, leveraging its rich natural resources, vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, and strategic geographic location.

Leadership and Key Objectives
The council will be co-chaired by prominent figures, including Ms. Arunma Oteh, H.R.H Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II, and Mr. Bolaji Balogun. Their expertise will help shape policies on investment attraction, economic resilience, and innovation.
Other esteemed members include Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Dr. Benedict Oramah, serving as Honourary Advisors. The council also integrates key members from the Abia State Executive Council to foster synergy between the administration and economic experts.

Governor Otti expressed deep appreciation for the council members, emphasizing their critical role in shaping policies that will drive Abia towards economic prosperity.
